On the weekend of the 23rd and 24th we shot our third short film at Twinkling Bat productions. What an amazing time, we spent the weeks leading up to the weekend rehearsing and building the set.
Seeing my script come to life is truly one of the most magical experience, especially when there is an awesome and talented team around you helping to create it.
Dani from Spongedrop made the most amazing food and baked goods for the cafe. Darcia from Light Viking helped to transform the school at Old Forest School into The Stolen Tart Cakery and Cafe.
Behind the scenes we had the extremely talented Alf at Hear No Evil recording the sound to make sure all the on screen talent sounds sharp. Samuel and I where behind the cameras lining up all the shots. Of course we had Isaiah Kokiri running around doing every job that needed to be done and keeping up the smiles and laughs around set
There was Rose (the other Rose) and her talented helpers Lana and Jacqui creating the hair and makeup looks.
And of course we had the on screen talent bringing the words off the pages, Phoenix Cross and Liam Dixon playing the two lead roles in the film with Larissa Marie, Kaitlin Spedding, Fletcher Oxford and Tanner Devcich as the supporting actors.
